Saturday lunch was held a short distance away at “Barn Happy” restaurant. The restaurant was “transformed from a dairy barn built in 1925 and has become a business that works to preserve the agricultural heritage and values of the heartland in Cedar Falls, Iowa”.

The afternoon activities began with a group photo, a presentation by Pete on the newly shared Marlys (Souhrada) Gronwoldt’s photo albums, how to organize your photos, and a new surprise DNA result. Anton Vanicek’s shared his excellent video on our Souhrada family history and homelands. Pete also alerted everyone that you may begin to see some changes at souhrada.com to make the site more "mobile" (phone) friendly. After the formal presentations, the auction of donated items was conducted by Dave Souhrada, Crystal Merrill, Sam Callaway, and Paul Flynn. (The auction proceeds help defer the costs of future reunions.) Afterwards, a delicious buffet dinner was served.

On Sunday morning many of the guests gathered for the buffet breakfast in the hotel dining area before heading back home.
