The 26th annual 2006 Souhrada Family Reunion

Will be held in Maquoketa, Iowa on August 12 and 13, 2006 

Please join us for the 26th anniversary Souhrada Family Reunion.  This is a great opportunity to meet (or get re-acquainted) with many of your Souhrada relatives, friends, and family.

HOLD THE DATES Saturday, August 12 and Sunday, August 13 for this year’s reunion to be held in Maquoketa, Iowa. 

Saturday August 12th:    

6:00 p.m. - Supper at The Decker House

            128 North Main Street, Maquoketa, Iowa

            Adult buffet dinner $12.95

            Child’s buffet dinner (age 3 to 8) priced at $5.95

            Children under 3 – no charge

Sunday, August 13th:      

10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Family Event at Michael’s Hall

            Myatt Drive, Maquoketa, Iowa

10:00 a.m. – free Coffee, milk, Kolaches and muffins

12:30 p.m. – Catered dinner of ham and Swiss steaks and all of the trimmings

Adults $8.00
Children 5 and under $5.00

After dinner activities include the charity auction and business meeting

A photo board will be available with sleeves to protect your photos while showing them off, and PLEASE DON'T FORGET to bring your "One of a Kind” contributions for our FABULOUS CHARITY AUCTION, with Dave as the auctioneer!

Also, please bring any and all photos of the “old country”, your country, family, homes, or of interest to others to share on the photo boards provided. Clear, plastic sleeves will be available for photos up to 8 x 10 and tack pins too so that you can post them without putting holes in the photo. (Make sure your name and address are on the back of each so we can ensure you get them back.)  

Joe (the GIANT) Powelka has graciously agreed to be our M.C., so stand by for fun and lots of action!
