The 27th annual 2007 Souhrada Family Reunion Will be held in Muskego, Wisconsin (a suburb of Milwaukee) on August 18 and 19, 2007 Please join us for the 27th Souhrada Family Reunion in the U.S.A. This is a great opportunity to meet (or get re-acquainted) with many of your Souhrada relatives, friends, and family. HOLD THE DATES Saturday, August 18 and Sunday, August 19 for this year’s reunion. Saturday, August 18 – Family Night - Open house and game night Candlewood Village Club House, Muskego 6:00 p.m. – 10:00p.m. This year, instead of the traditional dinner, stop by, play some games, and get to know your family better. Chili and appetizers will be available, and the event is FREE. Sunday, August 19 – Reunion Candlewood Village Club House, Muskego Doors open at 10:00 a.m.
The reunion will be held at the clubhouse of John and Nelda Vanicek’s condominium. There is lots of room for little ones to run around, and there are walking/bike paths nearby as well. There will be a family photo area, so bring your cameras and your smiles! We will also plan to capture the reunion with a big group picture to celebrate. 10:00 a.m. – Coffee and Pastries 12:00 noon – Lunch 2:00 p.m. Business Meeting After the business meeting, our fundraising auction will be held. This is your chance to show off your hobby, talent, or just bring that extra knick-knack that you’ve been thinking has been taking up too much space at you place. All of these things will find a loving home with your family, and at a reasonable price. Your donations help defray the cost of hosting this and future reunions. Cost: Adults = $7.00 Children under 5 = $5.00 Rodina Souhrada Souvenir T-Shirts available How about showing some family pride? At last year’s reunion, Janel Stephens donated some hand made adorable pillows with the Czech words “Rodina Souhradova” (which means Souhrada Family in English) stitched on them. This year as a keepsake of the reunion Souhrada T-shirts have been created. They can be pre-ordered and picked up at the reunion. If you are unable to attend and would like one delivered, please let us know.
